HISTORIC  RAILROAD  BUILDINGS
FIRST - In Woodvile, MS. the West Feliciana Railroad Office welcomes
visitors and offers information about Wilkinson County History and the
pioneer developers of the first interstate railroad, conceived in 1828,
chartered in 1831, and operating before 1840.

SECOND - In Vicksburg, the Yazoo & Mississippi Valley Station on Levee
St. shows the grand style of railroad planners who built the Delta line in
the 1880's.  It also reflects the determination of Vicksburg leaders who
made this building a shining example of historic preservation.
